T-Quads a History

[title inspired by Hogwarts A History. Not that we are anywhere near the level of the wonderous powers of Hogwarts, and requiring such a history]

I have, in futile, attempted to study Ancient History all morning. Yes, all 2 hours of it, after watching Hannah Montanah, hanging out the laundry and randomly finding pegs on clothes in my wardrobe.

And so, I have turned to blogging. It is such a horrible way to procrastinate, I know, but at least it will (hopefully) entertain my beautiful T-Quads.

However, I am not here to provide you with a history of any sort. I can provide you with a list of words that describe Cyrus II though:
- benevolent
- tolerant
- inspired
- reverent
- liberator
- conqueror
- intelligent
- dynamic
- resourceful
- pragmatist
- propoganda-ist
I had to refer to my notes like 3 times for that =.="

Anyway if I remember all that during my essay, and if they actually ask about Cyrus, then I will rock. If not, then...I'll just use the same words for other kings. Although I can't exactly do that for Cambyses or Xerxes. Because they weren't.

And um. Yeah. CAMBYSES TIME!!!

EDIT;
Cambyses was (according to Herodotus)
- Maniacal
- Savage
- Crazy
According to everyone else:
- wise
- strength of purpose
- sound judgement

Darius:
- tolerant
- broad minded
- desire to keep peace
- brave and decisive leader
- support of Ahura Mazda
- allowing conquered lands to maintain administration "stroke of genius"

Xerxes:
- less tolerant
- young, rash, foolish - Aeschylus
