lockouts, bridging courses & condoms

On the 30th of August, ze quads embarked on various journeys to USYD open day.

Jenny & iris & i caught the train to central and then the bus to USYD
Susie walked from redfern with karen chen and her crew
Sarah came with stine after tutor =]

but since iris was characteristically late, and jack had already been waiting for half an hr+, and his science lecture was starting in less than 10 mins, we went ahead first.

the quadrangle had a "clubs and societies" tent where we scabbed starburst sucks lollipops! =D and also the brochure of clubs...they were very insteresting...

our first lecture was the Arts overview lecture which was SO BORING
but i must say, it can't be beaten by the architecture. design, computers lecture we went to which basically told of the history of the faculty, numerous boasts of its many "firsts"/foundings in the uni [i.e. first faculty in usyd, first uni to do this, to do that yeah i don't even remember what] and also incessant persuasion to take architectural tours around places i've never heard.

anyway, yes back to the arts lecture...iris & jenny came 15 mins late and yeah
then after that we went psych lecture which made me wanna do psych even more!!! =D=D=D

oh on the way we bumped into susie FINALLY
yeah anyway, after lecture jenny was made to line up to make pink sherbet which didn't taste uber great

then mish came!
buh she met up with susie while iris, jenny & i went waste 45 mins of our lives

then we moved to Merewether Theatres to listen to the comm lecture which had a challenging inclined plane. i received entertainment from a least expected...no not jack...ERIC

freakin eric is so annoying, he started making sirens in the lecture, and was like "yerr i'm in eleven thass right. no actually i'm too cool for school yerr thass right"..."why is this so boring..." i shrug...i take out food 'OOOO what's that?! stretches out hand" i pour food into his hands...after eating "where did you get them from?!"...started waving to chicks at the door while the lecturer was speaking...then when he left the lecture room he turned around, climbed onto the table of the row above, stepped onto the chair and got out there -_-" haiz...

anyway

during that most entertaining 45 mins of my lyfe, stine & sarah came! YAY!!!

met up with them at the museum where mummies lay...after numerous attempts to shoo them out, stine and jenny finally got their butts out of the museum up to the maclaurin hall where we got brochures, then to the great hall

and david luo and his "mob" kept on ringing sarah to meet up with her except they never turned up at the great hall but NEVER FEAR they met up later...but only briefly...how disappointing x( but i guess she was bring cautious not to bring jealousy to victor. orrr...

yesh maybe it was that
but my gut feeling & shipping of vicrah favours the former explanation =]

Highlights:

- when i bought a chicken kebab for $2.50 thinking that it was a mini kebab when i realise it was kebab stick that is half the size of the normal ones T.T yeah...jack shared his beef burger ROFL
- jenny's fallen green & white lollies which i told her to wash like i washed my fishballs x(
- *jenny pokes iris*
iris: stop touching me! there are limits you know!
me: no limits iris ;) *points to usyd bag*
- when jenny got locked out of the comm lecture cos iris ROFL ahhahahahha [buh you coulda come in cos ppl kept on walkin in and out :P]
- when sarah got me a bridging course booklet...for mathematics! xDxDxD
thanks sarah...but she did get one for herself too xP

- sarah getting all these info booklets for courses she will never study e.g. engineering
- the "rat-sized" [stine] cockroaches, snakes & locusts [i was gna write parots cos i forgot what the last one was ROFL]
- when me & jack went to central station to catch train home...we went thru the "way out/no entry" way so we couldn't see the platform signs properly so we accidentally walked up to 20/19 then back down...then up 18/17 cos i forgot 18 was going towards central not away from cental, then came back down and THEN walked to 17/16 the right platform to catch home T.T yeah...omg...walked down staircases FIVE TIMES omggg i was seriously puffing T.T aiyaa...
- on the way back after tutor reading inbox msgs to delete them and encountering this msg from sarah: "Haha yes im funny :P lol man i was so petrified about it but i didn't end up being scary at all and i didnt' even have to fully strip! And now for maths"

i'm sure there are others which i have forgotten >< so feel free to add!

yes next week i shall be back for UNSW recount!!!
