HAHA yay!!! sarah turns EIGHTEEN!!!

haha by the time you read this sarah, hopefully you would have seen the "surprise" cos if not, then you're room has magically vanished or you're stranded somewhere with net access xP

well i hope we haven't messed up your room too much...we bought streamers but we ran outta time so yeah...

hehe, you're probably wondering about the behind-the-scenes...
but yeah...should i tell the story from the beginning? i think i should...soooo...i asked around to see if ppl were free and kathy was gna come too but she said it was too far in the end =( but before we could decided whether we were going, we had to ask your mum for permission xPxP...this is taken from convo between me & jenny:

omg i called sarah's home. sarah picked up and i was like can i plz speak to mrs trau and i told sarahs' mum about the surprise and everything except she goes and asks sarah something and i hear sarah laughing in the background and she said "HHAHHAa MELODY!" ahhahahha and i'm like omGGG COME BACK you're not suppposed to tell herrrrrrr!
and then when her mum comes back ot eh phone i waslike oh it's supposed to be a surprise...but don't worry about it >< and she was like on my house is a bit messy but you can still come, what are you planning ot do for the surprise and i told her just wanted to put up a poster and stuff. And i was like oh dw it's okai she already found out hahaa and her mum was like well thank you haha and she gave me her phone number.
but then i rang sarah afterwards and she was laughing at me but i asked her oh what did your mum tell you? and she said nothing! and i was like how much did you hear did you hear any of my convo with your mum and she said no
but yeah sarah said she recognised my voice when i asked to speak to her mum and i wa slike why did you give the phone to her then! then she was like cos i wasnt' sureeee if it was you
but yeah i dunno if sarah's pretending to not know about my plans or she really didn't hear what i told her mum ><
damn should i call her mum back to say we're coming again

then i call sarah's home again and sarah picks up AGAIN!!! my convo with sarah:

M: i hate you sarah trauuuUUUU!!!!!!!! xDxDxD
S: lool she was washing the dishes!
M: awwwww ><><

So after discussing details with your mum & confirming when we could come to your house, we hung up and yeah

then me and jenny took some time tryna find the name of susie's club workplace (Wests Ashfield) and i googled it, went on their website, onto the "contact" page and i didn't have the guts to so jenny called the number hoping susie would miraculously pick up. It was this woman called Virginia and jenny asked for susanna yang and yeah susie was on her break and came to the phone!!!

i gave a briefing of what was planned but susie had work so she couldn't come x( and then susie had to go cos she still hadn't had dinner at like 9/10 at night!

then we started planning what to do with the decorations...

hahaaa...and yeah jenny did some beautiful photoshopping. oh btw we hope you like the taylor swift touch =P it was funny cos i had that song stuck in my head at that time xP

okay so back to my story telling...

after all this phone talking and text messaging and photo selecting, i was SO FREAKING SCREWED cos i hadn't studied for accounting (AHAHHHA that's why i literally loled when you said in your text "dw mel you'll be fine considering you studied so much" or something ><)

then yeah skip the night studying and next morning and accounting test and WALA! i met up with stine after accounting midsem (i interrupted her flirting session with this guy called chris lolll. man i swear, they are both SO TALL i literally had to permanently tilt my head -45 degrees to watch them flirt...so painful in more than one ways...

then we caught the 400 to eastgardens (haha oh i forgot to mention that your mum remembers me and she asked me repeatedly whether i knew how to get to your house and reassured me that if i catch the wrong bus again and get lost, just give her a call and she'll pick me up xD and she even offered to pick us up from unsw)

we both grabbed lunch (even though stine swore she wouldn't buy any food to save money) and went to franklins to look for decos. (let me add that i bought a twister combo and i was still eating it when i was decorating it in your room and i accidentally left it in your room and didn't realise until i was back at home hahahhaaa...so yeah your mum called me to check that i got home safe and i told her to check for me xD) (btw you should really thank your parents for this xDxD ---will expand on that later)

franklins has an unbelievably small supply of party products so we just got these ugly streamers and balloons. after we exited, we realised the existence of the reject shop so we waltzed in there too. and remind me not to go into reject shop with stine again haha jkzzzz

basically we bought more than we needed from there...purple cellophane (your wall of shame and your entrance), purple + silver string, a bottle of purple paint, canvas (on mannn i would like to tell you more about this...T.T), random stickers, random packet of pretty papers, and i'm pretty sure there was more...

after ALL that shopping, your mum picked us up from eastgardens (your mum is SOO NICEEEEE) and took us to your place. that's when we started gettin dirrrty ;)
(btw thanks your mum again cos she was so hospitable she offered us orange juice and a whole bowl of grapes and even to help us blow up balloons!)

so the cellophane...hah-haa...we wanted to do waves like underrrr the seaaaaa style. cept stine kept on ripping it xD and we tried to cover it up with stickers hahaa...

and OMG sarah why do you not have ANY USEFUL stationery!!! glue stick??? sticky tape? we looked thru your 2 pencil cases in your cupboard and NOTHING! T.T your mum had to find scissors + tape for us >< and dw the bluetack was mine xP

anyway...oh yes the string curtain...omg took me forever buttt i rkn it looks pretty kekeee. but yeah your doorframe was TOO TALL for meee :'( so everytime i finished one section of the curtain, i'd hafta go "stineeeeeeee ><" and she'd hafta get off her ass to help me stick it on followed by a snide comment =P

(yes i am very glad that stine came with me to do it hehe)

the balloonsss...stine blew up most of them claiming that it's from her many years of swimming xP i blew up 2 but no matter how hard i tried i couldn't get them her size x(. then she tied them around the room, and there was this one time when i was doing something and a batch of her balloons hit my head and i was like OIII!!! but then i realised they fell off the roof, not stine hitting my head hahaa

and OMG one of the balloons popped SO LOUDLY and stine's ear was RIGHT NEXT TO IT and it deafened her and me too and then i started laughing about how sarah would scream in the middle of the night but not from a nightmare xDxD

the canvas...YESSSsssss...we were so reluctant to start that cos neither of us were artistic so stine was the brave one and started it...and yeah basically she painted the letters, i tried to refine it...and then poked the brush at the canvas at various places to make the bkgd xP

ohHHH and it was SO FUNNY

i was trimming your wall of shame photos and the top one was of him NAKED right and your mum walks in saying thank you to us for like the 15th time literally, and suddenly she has this aghast look, points to the picture and says "who's that???"

and i quickly put the one with the roses on top to cover it aahhaha sooo shiftyyy...then we just kinda laugheddd it off...
then like an hr later she come back to say thank you again and she asks us again who it is, and stine was like "oh he's an actor,"
"ohh!" *relieved
"from this korean show that she really likes"
"Ohh haha..."
then after your mum leaves, stine goes to me "man imagine if i told her he was my brother. DAMN i shoulda told her he was my brother!"

mmm what else is there...oh wall of fame i.e. our grp photo hehe. and our personal msgs...

we woulda done more but as i said before, we ran outta time cos stine had to leave and your parents were SO NICE your dad drove stine home and your mum drove me to central station and we had a very nice long chat hahaa...
