Dear T-Quads,
It's been slightly more than a month since our last post on this blog... so I decided to "populate" the page with my life...
For the last week, we've been on our mid-sem break at USyd,.. which I had of course planned to spend effectively on study but guess what? Yes.. I didn't really study but that's alright I suppose, I knew this would happen anyway.
BUT I had an awesome time leading to the mid-sem break and also during the break as well! I received a lot of birthday wishes and presents this year, thanks guys, I love you! =) Firstly, VSA Usyd had bought me a Bling Guess purse, it is very lovely and I'm currently using it at the moment. There was also a Black Forest Cake that I had no idea about which was a pleasant surprise for me and a Little Miss Naughty card! Thank you especially to Sarah for organising it! Secondly, I received Daisy perfume from my USyd friends... it actually came with a heart shaped Kikki.K card and CK One Summer perfume. Mind you... the CK one is supposedly unisex but it smells soo masculine after a while that even my colleagues told me it's for men, when I let them smell my wrist at work! Thirdly, there's your present: Lindt Macaroons (YUM!), Silver Sportsgirl Clutch, Pretty Pearly Bracelet with a pink ribbon & beautiful card. I loved all of it! On Tuesday 28th September, had lunch at Chat Thai with 2 of my t-quads, Jenny & Sarah (wish you could have come Mel! ), Alice, Lily & Vi... the food was pretty good, it's a shame I didn't get to open my Macaroons and share them with you guys but I will definitely to one of the Lindt cafes to shout you some!!! Lunch was followed by VSA Usyd meeting at Uni, then a tiny part of VSA State AGM and dinner at home!
Speaking of presents, I also received from my colleagues... Blue Bear/Babu card, Butterfly hair tie, Hand Cream, Black Sportsgirl Clutch, Mini Photo frame/Key-ring set, Chocolate Mud Cake, Red sequin bear card (I'll show you guys sometime!) & Cupcakes/Choc chip biscuits/Strawberries on a plate!
Anyway, I have all my presents in bold cause I love them soo much (I'm sure I just really wanted to brag but nah really they're good presents!)... THANK YOU! Also, maybe one day when i come back to read this again, I'll remember what a lovely 20th birthday I had.
On Thursday, I had a job interview at work for the Cash Controller/Analyst position.. which went alright but since I was nervous I realised there were a lot of things that I could have said that I didn't! I also had trouble explaining myself when they asked me what I would do in particular scenarios... but other than that it was OK! Spent about 90 mins trying to study in UTS library.
In the afternoon, Arthur (ex-colleague/friend) shouted me to lunch at Blackbird Cafe, after... I went to visit his current workplace at Four Seasons Hotel and he made me a Cappuccino there too. Then I met Sarah before she headed to the CommSoc Ball... she looked sooo pretty and now that I think of it, I forgot to take a photo with her!!!
This weekend, really only consisted of me going to work so not special apart from what I said above!
Well I think I'll end this post by saying... the results for the Cash Controller position will most likely be out tomorrow soo *fingers crossed* but I'm still pretty sure I didn't get it... I will be happy for whoever gets it since they deserve it! There were actually like 10 people who went for the position... so I won't be alone if I don't get the job, have nothing to lose!

sounds like you had an awesome midsem (Y) I look forward to the summer where we can do such awesome things without study impeding on us. I'm in the same boat with study =.=
GOOD LUCK FOR THE JOB <3 and you're right it doesn't matter if you don't get it!
