Walkathon was a SUCCESS!

Well just came home about maybe 15 mins ago. Anyway Walkathon today was pretty good except for the tiredness, my stupidity and messiness! xD Yes, we earnt approximately $200 of profit so we're all happy. The day practically started with deciding how much ice cream and drink we would put into the cups for the spiders but in the end we just put random amounts of each with some of the them overflowing, go us~!

Umm about my stupidity and maybe I should include my forgetfulness as well. Hmm when some people were going to buy canned drinks and Sarah said "1 for $1.50 and 2 for $2.50", I accidentally said that "That group is selling drinks for $1.00" whilst pointing to Tina's group and the people were like "Ohh" and walked off but I think in the wrong direction. But anyway I felt really stupid with Kathy actually reinforcing the point a few times! Though the rest of our group just said nothing to me about it except Mel who comforted me, thank you! Haha I had a feeling that Stine would actually tell me that I was stupid =P Well I guess I made up for it by "enthusiastically" helping to sell cans around the park and beach. Oh about my forgetfulness, this morning in a rush, I forgot to buy the spoons for the spiders which also got Kathy annoyed but she did tell me to "Hurry Up!" cause she thought Mel and I would have bought it ages ago. =(

Soo that was pratically about it unless you wanted to know that the prices for canned drinks went from $1.50 to $1.00 to $0.50 or 2 for $2.50 to 2 for $2.00 and spiders from $2.00 to $1.50 to $1.00 to $0.50 to being free! We were "desperate" to get rid of the bottled drinks too so we sold them for $1.50 then $1.00. Hmm just in case someone wants to remember this, we started dropping prices at 1pm. Lol that was too much detail but anyway I bought Wu Chun, Arron, Fahrenheit and Hero badges! Hehe yay! Now I shall leave this blog and go to play Bridge or something ^^
